Chordata
The chordata phylum consists of animals possessing notochord (a rod shaped body found in the embryos of all chordata). The notochord was the first backbone (spine). The respiratory system of chordata vary. The respiratory system depends on their respective subphylum and environment. Below are three examples of chordata: the blue whale, human, and peregrine falcon.
